Rodney's Relics

I am Rodney, of Rodney’s Relics. I love history , Australian books and I have written one myself. It is about the pioneers of the historic gold and diamond mining town - Bingara NSW.

I also love researching history, finding forgotten characters and then telling their story.

Bingara history books, supplied by the Historical Society, provide wonderful examples of the development of Australia by the pioneers and miners. I offer a full range of their books and 80% of the sales goes to the up keep of the Museum.

Two highly recommended books are- John Hume’s (dec) Bingara’s Golden Past and the Glitter of Diamonds. John, a long-term school teacher in Bingara, was a recognised expert in mining. His books are necessary for today’s fossickers.

Other nationally sought books are those about the Myall Creek massacre of twenty-eight people, which occurred near Bingara.
